Family Vacation!!

Well Saturday we all loaded up and headed to New Braunsfels for Schlitterbahn:)

We always stop halfway down there and eat at Marble Falls!!

We ate at River City Grill and then got back in truck to head to River!!Cheese:)

That night we went to Gruene, Tx to eat at Gristmill, O so Good!!

All the waiting and counting down and all the excitement....

We're HERE!!!!

We stayed on the actual Resort, which is the only way to go!! We arrived on Sunday and since we were staying there, we got passes for Sunday and Monday.

The first day we actually hung out the tube side, (but I could not take camera) where you ride more tube rides. The lines were short, we never had to wait more than 25 min, and the water was so COLD!

Monday we went to the other side of the park where it was more like Hurricane Harbor, and they had 100 kiddy pools..... exaggeration a little, but I had been in every single one, LOL

Now this was the Lazy Rushing Whirlpool.... I bet they all 4 hung out on this thing for 2-3 hours. Its not your usual lazy river! The current and waves would just go so fast.....

Monday was Katie's Sweet 16!

Hard to believe how much she has grown!!

Okay now Tuesday we went to San Marcos to see the Glass Bottom Boats!

And they have an aquarium there and we got a shot of this turtle...

These boats were so neat, they of coarse had a glass bottom so you could see the fish and neat things in the water!

The kids thought this was neat!

Such and Awesome Wonder! God is amazing!!

Now Friday Chuck and I were able to just get away just the two of us and go for some early morning fishing off Eagle Mountain Lake!

I actually caught a bass! Yay for me!

And of coarse the pro did to, but if I'm not sure mine is bigger!! Haha

We had a great vacation and plenty of fun!

Nothing like making memories with the family :)

We are just grateful to God that we made it safe and sound and thank Him for blessing our trip!

Summer Nights

Its been a great summer, kids are having a blast just hanging out and we are trying to hang out more in the evenings because its soooo HOT in the day!!!!

Chuck got the girls their very own and first Bows..... I am not sure if he was more excited or if they were. LOL. They learned very very Quick! Imagine that!

Brenley loves it and has not lost one single arrow!

Addy also caught on quite quick..... She is getting ready this fall to shoot her first deer. Wow!

This was her group...... Chuck is going to get them competing this Fall.

This is the wild animal part.... and no I am not talking about Brenley... .LOL..

Our friend raises deer and this is one of his fallow deer... O how sweet! He is one week old here.

This same friend also found a baby fox.....

Now one night after it cooled off, we loaded up the boat and headed to Mineral Wells Lake, which is such a short drive for us, and we watched the sunset. So "boutiful" as Hannah says..

And that is was!

Now this was one day last week and Addy had Volleyball camp every day in Weatherford for 2 hours, so us girls would try to find something to do in the HEAT wave of the day, and so we ventured out to Soldiers Spring Park! Wow it was hot, you can see the girls face are beat red!
