My Addy~

It just blows my mind when I think that this is my first born!

Addison is a true blessing. She is such a good kid, that does what we ask of her the very first time! And so very respectful of persons, not just us!

The Lord has Great and Mighty plans for a child like that!

If she is able to do what her own parents ask of her, I know she has a very willing and able heart to do what her Father asks of her!

Blessings on your whole life baby girl!

May the Glory of the Lord always shine forth from you!

Addison Shea Bratcher!

Chucks 92 year old Grandma (Chuck's moms mom) is fading fast. She took a cold that turned into a cough about 2-3 wks ago and b/c of her congestive heart failure is not getting over it. She in fact did not come to Christmas this year b/c she is so weak. As of today 29th she is now in a hospital bed at home but unable to speak and very labored breathing.

We are just praying that the Lord would take he quickly. She loves the Lord with all the heart and soul. She has been a widow for almost 30 yrs and longs to go Home!

Chuck lost a brother in June and Grandma was very close to Clint and she hasn't really been the same since!

The girls are and have been prepared for Grandma's departure, but I still pray for comfort for the family and especially for Alva, Chucks mom and his Aunt Janice who has cared for Grandma since 2007.

Her and Hannah are pretty tight. They live in town and they would watch Hannah at least once a week so I could run errands or Dr.'s visit, or orthodontist visits or just a drop in with lunch!

Christmas Fun

We started out with Christmas at my mom's on Christmas Eve. The girls helped decorate the desert table! Yummy!

Then we got down to action! Hannah was so excited about Dora!

And it didn't take long for BB to break into the fun too!

Christmas Day we went to Chuck's mom's house!

Snow Skiing Red River 2011

This Christmas we went on a ski trip to Red River NM, with some friends and we let that be the majority of Christmas! The Kids thought that was the Best Present ever!

We set out on Saturday 17th night about 7:39 PM. We thought that would work out with the kids sleeping all night, and it somewhat did. We arrived at 5:48AM

As we arrived into the town, Chuck spots a Lynx right off the bat. I in fact saw it to perched on the side of some rocks just off the road, Amazing!

We had a BLAST! I am not much on skiing, so me and Hannah hung out a lot at the lodge and videoed, and took pictures and a few days we went shopping with Lori. But Brenley, Chuck and Addy and the Schult boys and Gracie tore up the slopes. Brenley went to Ski school one day and she got it down. Addy and Chuck learned back in 08 when we went last.

Our cabin was so nice and spacious for 15 people. It was about 8-10 minutes from downtown RRiver, but it set nestled in the mountains. It was perfect!

This was the living room, it had 4 bedrooms and a huge loft upstairs and just real homey.

There were deer everywhere!

And if you know my husband well enough, he brought his own corn just to feed the deer. O hunter Chuck thinks of it all.

Literally every single morning BB would take the feed out and feed the deer. This particular morning she thought, I might just stay here and see if they come up and eat while I sit still. And if you could watch the actually video, it is the most still you would ever see BB sit! UNREAL!

In between the lodge, Hannah and I would sneak off downtown and shop. We went to the Candy Crate alot! She had so much fun with me and I had a ball with her. She was the BEST kid out of all 9 of the kids that went!

We found Santa in Red River! Who knew!

We also played a lot of Iphone games! lol

Here's speedy BB herself.... I would pray that she would not hit anything because she was so fast and she is such the daredevil type. NO FEAR!

This was the last night we were there, we all went out to eat at Texas Reds.

Now this might scare you a bit, but this is what we traveled home in. We headed home on Thursday 22nd and they were going to be getting 4-6 inches of snow that day, and this was just outside of Clayton NM. It was scary!

We had such a great Family Vacation, so many memories! I pray my girls will always remember what a special time we had, and just how much God truly Blessed each day in every single way! From the safe journey of the 1330 miles Journey!

The best part of Chuck and what he has taught me in life is enjoying the ride and making memories! That is truly the only things we take with us!

We bought a frame while we were there and it truly fits.....

"A Family that Plays together, stays together!"

The Lord has blessed us so much, just in giving His One and Only Son! What else could ever compare to that! May the Lord always be our true foundation in our family!

CHRISTmas in Lindale

Every year we go to Chuck's cousins' house in Lindale in East Texas and celebrate Christmas with them! The kids love to go there, they have over 10 acres filled with so much to do!
