HomeComing night in Peaster!

We do not have Football here, but we have basketball and that is when we do our homecoming. It was a great night and they had such a good time!

This was yesterday. We took advantage of the nice warm sunny day, makes me wish spring/summer were closer!

However, I am afraid we are going to have a late winter?!?!

Addison is taking Theatre Arts and they had a UIL competition and they got 2nd out of 5 schools in the surrounding areas.

Addy played the role of an Ant, the insect ant. She did really good, she was a mother ant and she did a great job. She got every single line and she had about 40 lines.

Peaster BasketBALL 2012

Basketball is in full throttle and we played our first Tournament this past weekend!

So Much Fun!

We played Friday night and won that game by 20+ Points, then Saturday we play again and won by 15+ points, so then we made it to the championship and we lost by 18!

It was a tough team, they all stood literally 2 feet taller than our girls. We played hard and gave it all we had, so much that Natalie sprang her ankle and had to go to the hospital!

Good Job Lady Hounds!

We got 2nd place and we were proud!

Brenley has also started. She is playing with Weatherford Little dribllers as well as Peaster!

She made 4 points Saturday!

BB's First Deer!

No worries its not Bambi, although in this picture it looks like it. Its a mature doe (Chuck's words) and Brenley was so EXCITED! As you can tell by her face!

They took it to the processing plant and she told the man, "I want all deer jerky!" She was so funny!

I actually surprised him with a guitar this year.... I don't keep surprises at all, I always end up telling ! So this year I did good! Yay for me!

Good Company!

This is a sweet dear friend of mine, Dr. Ballou and two of her three girls, Hartlyn 10 mo, and Laynee, 2 years. And Miss Maggie was at school and she is 5. I met Dr. Ballou while she covered for Dr. Potter over 5 years ago. She helped us out in a time when we needed her and her sweet, sweet spirit!

Since then she has gone on to have 3 beautiful girls, and is practicing 4 days a week! Her and her husband Dallas live close to Decatur. Dallas loves to fish like Chuck and are both great Daddy's!! We sure miss her:(

But I am so glad that she came to meet me in Weatherford and we were able to catch up!

You meet a lot of people in your lifetime, but only a few you hang on to and truly treasure and your friends for Life!!

And for that I am grateful!
