Katie's Prom

This Baby Girl has Grown up way to fast!  But here we are!

This is my niece Katie, she is someone who is younger than me yet I look up to!

I was 15 when she was born, and so she was my first real baby doll.  She is just a good kid, she's smart, she's funny, not to mention Beautiful!  She has overcome so much and I am amazed to see the Wonderful, Courageous and strong young Woman she is now!  She really is a sweet girl, she has treated my own girls as though they are her own.  She loves unconditional and she has a sweet heart!

She has been with Michael almost 2 years and they both are planning to attend Texas State University!

Go Katie!

This is her Saginaw Prom last week.  It was held downtown FW.

Blessings on you Child forever and always!

Love you dearly!

Vegas!

Chuck and I were able to get away for a couple of days before the summer gets here and gets to busy, so we headed to Vegas.  Its my second time, but was Chuck's first time.  Its busy and crazy and so its not a spot you want to go and relax... HA!  But we did have fun. We left on a Wednesday and came home on Friday.  Lori and Stephen were able to go with us!

We stayed at the Flamingo, which was a great place!
It was a great mixture of young and old people and was at great location.

We ate one night at Carlos N' Charlie's, it was good.

This was one day at Caesars Palace, which was huge and crazy!

Now don't get me wrong, we had a great time just being together and NOT CLEANING A HOUSE FOR 3 DAYS!, but there is really nothing there that Glorifies the Lord in Vegas, only the mountains did that!!!!  I am not saying that as Christians we should not go and be a light in dark place, but I could go without ever going again.  And might I mention I won around $140 on penny slots! Ha!

God is good and He blesses all things!  My prayers are with all the families in Moore, OK.  My sister lives just 30 miles South from there. Prayers for all the ones who perished and God be with those families.  She had just went on a field trip with her 2nd grader at the Orr Family Farm where the farm lost 78 horses.  She was just there last Friday.  So devastating, but yet so  many good testimonies coming forth, just comes to show His promises are True!
"For All Things Work Together for Good For those who love the Lord and are called according to His purposes"  Romans 8:28

God take the tragedy and Bless all those involved and give strength to the volunteers!

Girls and Fish!

Only thing I could think of for a title for this ONE! HA!

Here is a pretty picture of Ms. Hannah

And the girls went fishing and caught a few more for our fish fry we had in May!

MMMMMM.... so Good!
