Happy Anniversary to ME!
Wow, Chuck and I were able to get away(which is hard with 3 girls) with some friends and go to St. Thomas on the Virgin Islands. For our first big vacation and get away, it was amazing! We are pretty easy people to please, seeing that the only beaches we have ever been to is the Texas coast, we were in Awe of the Beauty that actually exist!
The water was a color that I had never seen.... so blue and pristine!
This was at our resort...... we had our best friends, Lori & Stephen, Lori's brother Byron and his girlfriend Shari and then some friends of ours from Peaster, Kieth and Darla. You would think with four couples, and 8 people that we would have some conflict with something or someone, but we had the best time EVER! We called ourselves the Super 8!
One day we Ferried over to another Island, St. John. It was so beautiful... we went to Truck Bay which is known for its snorkeling and clear waters. It was so fun!
Another day we all took a boat ride to a place called Christmas Cove, thought to be where Christopher Columbus had sailed into on Christmas day (how they know that, IDK) but we were sold! LOL We were also able to snorkel and check it out. I have been in many boats, but had never sailed! That was neat!
There were many beaches to visit and we did just that!
And of coarse we had our own show going on while my husband always has to catch the wildlife where ever we go!
"Here Honey, here's your Anniversary Gift, its a diamond ring in the middle of this Sea Urchin (porcupine of the Sea) you just have to dig for it!" NOT!
He had more fun snorkeling and finding all the new creatures under water!

They were everywhere and crazy!
We had an amazing time, it only took 14 years for us to do something like this, and I imagine it will be another 14 years until it happens again..... with 3 girls, we have graduations, proms, cars, college, weddings and braces!
