Really did not feel like the first weekend of fall, but it was and we are trying to soak up every little last nice piece of weather we can!
Addy just last week got her a new bike as a reward for making straight A's all last year. We have always rewarded for A's in elementary school, but Middle School we are rewarding a little bigger than a $20 bill! So we surprised her with a new bike! Hannah had also got her a new one for her Birthday, so we decided to take the Mineral Wells Trials that go from Weatherford to Mineral Wells. We did not however with a 4 year old on tow and training wheels..... but we started in Garner and rode out about 30 mins and then turned around and came back
only to eat at Garner Cafe!
I actually took this next photo while I was riding my bike and following behind....
We had to find some Mustang Grapes and eat on the way...... only eat grapes if you know what they are... we teach our children.... LOL
Chuck couldn't resist and it was so refreshing....
Yum Yum
Had to hurry and get a pose, BB was about to Melt!
All that riding only to come and crash it for a good Ol burger and Onion rings... couldn't resist!
On the way home, we passed a local cemetery and let the kids find Chuck's Paternal Grandpa and Grandma, along with his Grandpa's mom and dad...... so 3rd and 4th generations for my girls....Its was really neat. And Hannah was the one to find it.
BB, Addy and I actually rode our bikes to this cemetery, while Chuck and Hannah followed us on the road. We do not like to really ride bikes on the road (unless its our road because we live at the end of a dead end road) so the made sure we were safe! But it was really an experience I believe the kids will remember!
Then Saturday night we hit the town! Or Main Event!
We bowled two games and then played Laser tag!
Sometimes patience is a virtue!
Then Sunday we chilled at the house and cooked out as the girls got ready for bow season, which starts this coming Saturday! O Boy! I will lose a husband and gain lots of camo to wash!
God has blessed us so richly with all He has given and we are so Grateful to Him!
Bless the Lord O my soul and All that is within me!
Bless you all!
